Jennifer Aniston & Justin Theroux
JUST MARRIED!

Jennifer Aniston & Justin Theroux

2011 - current

After initially meeting through friends on the set of Tropic Thunder in 2007, future loves Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux reunited nearly three years later during the filming of their hippie comedy Wanderlust. And even though recent history has proved their connection is the real deal, promotional interviews with the Friends super nova proved she had an interesting first impression of her future beau. "I thought he was very sweet and he was always very nice," she said, "but I remember thinking he was very dark. At first you think he could be like a serial killer, but he is actually the nicest person in the world."

Even though it would seem their love connection began on the Wanderlust set in 2010, it wasn’t until May 19th, 2011 that reports linked Aniston and Theroux together romantically. Jen’s rep would later refute the stories claiming the pair had been on a dinner date – stating that it was “a friends dinner.”

Despite the denials, Jennifer and Justin spent the summer of 2011 getting close and appearing alongside each other in public at events like the MTV Movie Awards and Jen’s hand and footprint ceremony at the, then titled, Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood. On June 16th, 2011, news broke that Theroux had ditched his New York home, and his longtime girlfriend Heidi Bivens, to move in with Aniston in Los Angeles.

Over the next year, Aniston and Theroux acted as most Hollywood couples do – vacationing together, late night dinner dates and spending time with their celebrity friends in arms. Near constant engagement rumors, mixed in with the occasional story that they’d broken up, would plague the actors for most of 2012. Those reports were entirely untrue, as proven when Justin popped the question to Jen on his 41st birthday, August 10th, 2012.

Aside from the red carpet debut of her engagement ring, Jennifer has kept her lips sealed on any details to do with her and Justin’s impending nuptials.

In a bit of a surprise announcement, it was confirmed on August 6th, 2015 that Jen and Justin had gotten married in secret the day before (August 5th, 2015). The ceremony was small, with only 70 family members in attendance, and was held at their home in Los Angeles.
