In 1988, Will Smith rose to fame as one half of the recording duo DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince with their hit song “Parents Just Don’t Understand.” The following year, they went on to win the first Grammy ever in the rap category. In 1990, NBC approached the burgeoning superstar with a sitcom based on his life entitled "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air," which aired for six seasons. After appearing in "Six Degrees of Separation" and "Bad Boys," Will became a box office phenomenon following the success of "Independence Day" in 1996. With a string of follow-up hits like "Men in Black," "Hitch" and "I Am Legend," Smith solidified his reputation as one of the most bankable stars in Hollywood. He will next appear as Deadshot in the DC Comics anti-hero film "Suicide Squad."
